Crisis Prenancy Center exists to serve the Gaston County community.  Founded in 1986, the Crisis Pregnancy Center of Gaston County is a locally organized and funded ministry providing alternatives to abortion for women and families facing unplanned pregnancies.  Through CPC, women, men and their families find care and practical help as they face crucial decisions surrounding a crisis pregnancy.  The Crisis Pregnancy Center of Gaston County is part of a network of hundreds of CPCs around the country formed to offer positive alternatives to abortion.
