Here, you'll find the very best part of my life...

my family, friends and loved ones. All I can show you is the appearance

of each..... what you won't see is what they hold in their

hearts... or how they are held in mine.

Eric ~~The prodigal son :)

Among many things, he has a great
love for people and can talk a
stranger's ear off :) Actually,
I tend to think this trait runs in
the family.

Here he is again with his
girlfriend, Amy, a bit older and
with a little less hair. He calls it
"that Brittain Curse". This is due to
my father's side of the family,
all being bald before their time. I guess he gets more from me than
just talking, huh? :)

well, it IS but not necessarily in this body form. :)

The Other Children

Mollie & Me

I call Mollie my little pound puppy, for obvious reasons.... yep, she was rescued from the pound over 15 years ago. I always felt that she somehow knew her intended fate and because of that has shown her appreciation all these years... in being my side-kick and best friend.

Roho... He's never known what it was to be a
prisoner of a cage...the door is never closed and he's allowed wings for most of the year. Because of that,
he's pretty much become a permanent fixture to where ever I am. Like the rest of the Lynn Zoo, he has a
love for the outdoors and people... So, come summer the wings go and he's able to visit his backyard friends and go for rides to the store... can you say "happy bird"? :)

~~Please Note: Since the last writing of this page, both Mollie and Roho have passed on. Each left me with a sadness that can never be explained. Still, I've decided that I must instead be thankful for the time that was given to me, with both.

And of course,
there's Lynn (the other one...)

He I'd imagine, has taught me more than any one person I've ever known.

Astronomy, photography, the opening moves in a game of chess and on

down to the "fine art" of mat cutting. Not to mention introducing

me to a bottle of wine I actually like. A major deal there! :)

Always with great patience and an eagerness to pass along bits and pieces of

the vast knowledge he's obtained over the years. For those reasons and more,

I'm forever grateful for this friendship we have.
